The Fractional Finance Association (FFA) describes itself as a global community of CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, Directors of Finance and other senior finance leaders working across fractional and full-time roles. Its mission is "Connect. Educate. Support. Elevate." It was founded by Mark Tranter, a longtime operator who spent nearly two decades building and exiting a national fractional finance organization.
Membership includes local chapter meetups, virtual roundtables and expert-led seminars and workshops, with discussion hosted in a private, members-only LinkedIn community. Virtual events run on Zoom and are open to members worldwide. Chapters are listed in Austin, Houston, Indianapolis, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Tampa, Vancouver and Washington, D.C., with more launching soon.
Membership is free and reviewed. Applicants submit a form, connect with a market manager, and start engaging once approved. It suits fractional CFOs and controllers, fractional firm owners, finance executives in full-time roles, and executives exploring fractional work.
