NAR represents brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers and other real estate professionals. It lobbies on federal housing and property policy, publishes housing and commercial market research, and offers ethics, fair housing and continuing education training. Members join a local association first, which extends to state and national level. Only members who follow the Code of Ethics may use the REALTOR trademark. It runs the REALTORS Legislative Meetings and NAR NXT events.
