NSBA says it is the nation's oldest small business advocacy group and works so that small business needs are reflected in legislation. Members vote on the annual policy priorities and receive action alerts for contacting lawmakers. Resources include a Small Business Toolbox, member surveys, a small business certification, a voter guide and an Advocate of the Year award. Members can also join councils and networks such as the Leadership Council, Corporate Advisory Council, Veterans Network, Small Business Technology Council and Small Business Exporters Association. A member savings offer through sponsor Dell is listed, and a weekly newsletter is open to non-members.
